Our Story: Inspired by Big Dog Ike

This adventure began with our “Big Dog” Ike—the best boy and a steadfast companion for 16 incredible years.

Rescued from under a car in a puddle after Hurricane Ike in 2008, he was barely six weeks old when he came into our lives.

Ike was by our side through thick and thin until his passing in August 2024. His loyalty and love inspired DogProductPicker, to help other dogs live their best lives, just like Ike did.

Meet the Pack

Hi there! I’m Ty, and alongside my wife Maryella, we’re the proud pup parents of two amazing rescue dogs, Jasmine and Rita.

• Jasmine (aka Jaz, Jazzy, Muscles): Our 10-year-old Weenie-Pit with a big personality! She claims to be a distant cousin of the famous Miss Peaches—we haven’t had the heart to fact-check her on that one.
• Rita (aka Rita Skeeta, the Nosey Neighbor): A 9-year-old Weenie-Lab who loves her ball, keeps a vigilant eye on the neighborhood from her favorite window, and enjoys napping—preferably on top of Jasmine.

Our dogs fill our lives with joy, laughter, and endless inspiration. They’re the reason we do what we do!

Giving Back: Supporting Our Furry Friends

We’re passionate about more than just great products—we’re committed to making a difference. We support West Orange Animal Shelter local animal shelter here in Orange, TX, and we’re all about helping rescue dogs find their forever homes. If you’d like to learn more about them or other shelters across the country, you can find that information here.
