Choosing a crate for your Cavachon is important as he will likely spend quite a bit of time in it. Even though Cavachons are small, this relatively new breed can range quite widely in size. Choose a crate that is large enough for him to move around comfortably, but not too large that he has room to eliminate on one side and sleep on the other. Keep in mind that Cavachons do not like to be alone for long periods of time, so try to limit how long your pup is kept in his crate.

Size and Fit
Keeping in mind their varying sizes, a crate designed for dogs from about 10 to 20 pounds should work. On average, Cavachons will grow from about 10 to 16 inches in height, but this can also vary.
