There are several shampoos on the market for dogs with mange so sometimes it can be confusing when trying to decide what is best for your dog. There are a few specific things you will want to look for when considering a shampoo. Mange can be very contagious, so we suggest using these in addition to seeing your veterinarian, and not instead of.
Active Ingredients
In many cases the active ingredients are usually 2% Chlorohexidine and 1-2% Ketoconazole. While these words sound like harmful chemicals, they are in fact 100% natural.
