The Chigi, a dog of affectionate personality, is a hybrid breed formed by the cross of Chihuahua and Corgi. This pup is mostly small in size and loving in nature. It inherited the wonderful qualities from both of his parents. Highly adaptive to adjust in almost all types of atmosphere and places.

The other names use for Chigi are Chi-Chorgi, Chorgie and Chihuahua/Chorgi. All the qualities in this canine are obtained from his parents. The designer dog Chigi has very little account of its history. Let’s look at its ancestral history. One parent Chihuahua is a small dog that has an obscure history with only theories on its origin. However, these theories suggest that this dog descended from the “Techichi” dog, which the Toltec people considered spiritual. It originated in Mexico and was believed to be a dog of miraculous healing powers. It is a small-sized dog that got registered from the AKC in 1904.

The Welsh Corgi has a fictional history as it is believed to be coming from the woodland dwellings. According to the old stories, this dog changed the lives of those who were poor and worried. Also, one of my favorite dogs among the eminence, the Corgi, looks like a fairy tale dog. Other than these fictional associations, it is thought to be a descendant of Swedish cattle dogs, also known as the Valhunds. It got accepted from UKC, while in 1935, AKC registered this canine.
