The Boston Terrier was developed as a fighting dog in the historic city of Boston. It was notorious for its use in violent games such as bull-baiting and fighting. All of these morbid forms of entertainment were outlawed in 1835. The Boston Terrier was accepted into regular households after that. Its goofiness and affectionate nature enabled it to become an important member of families across the United States and eventually the world.
Shibos Characteristics
The difference in the appearance of both parents is significant. Nevertheless, we believe that the Shibos will have a short-length coat tightly wrapped around its frame. The Shibos may have the box-like head of the Boston Terrier, along with its round-shaped eyes. The color variations for the Shibos will include Black/White, Seal and Brindle variations. The Shibos is a small dog because both of its parents are small. The average Shibos will be no taller than 16 inches. At minimum, their heights should stay above 12 inches.
